Fique is a native Colombian plant and a durable, biodegradable fiber extracted from its leaves. Its rustic, handcrafted finish makes it an ideal sieve for diffusing warm light. Seese works with the Santander cooperative of fiqueros in Curità (which in the Guane language means "village of weavers").
