Huitaca

This project held special meaning for Seese: it was led from start to finish by our founder, Irene Arango, who oversaw both the architectural design and the lighting concept. For the Huitacá Leather store, we created lamps woven in dark raw fique with leather fringes provided by the brand, highlighting the artisanal value while crafting an innovative product. The lamps accompany the product displays with warm light, enhancing the textures, shapes, and tones of the pieces.

More and more brands understand that what’s visible in their space speaks just as much as what they sell. Choosing handcrafted pieces is not just an aesthetic decision, it reflects a way of working that respects the pace of the makers, supports local economies, and reduces environmental impact through natural materials.
