El Kilo Marisquería

This project started with a close conversation with the founders of El Kilo, a creative entrepreneurial couple looking for distinctive lighting pieces for the bar areas of their restaurants in Bogotá and Barranquilla. They chose 13 pendant lamps woven in light raw fique, to add texture, warmth, and a handcrafted signature to one of the most visible spaces in the place.

Like all of our pieces, these light fixtures were handcrafted in our Bogotá workshop, where artisans work at a sustainable pace and receive fair wages. They care for every detail with the same precision they would give a one-of-a-kind lamp. Behind every delivery, there’s a structur that prioritizes
