Carmela Horno & Cocina

For the restaurant Carmela Horno & Cocina, the studio Trazzo Design reached out to develop a series of innovative handcrafted lighting pieces, made specifically for the space. The concept came to life through a creative process where the raw fique fibers and the generous volumes shaped a warm glow that blended naturally with the space: wood, earthy tones, and a close, inviting atmosphere.

The result was 17 handwoven pieces, some with LED bulbs, others with internal light tubes. Since their installation in 2021, the design has been so well received that restaurant guests often ask about the lamps for their own homes.

Carmela marked the beginning of an ongoing collaboration with the studio, which has since expanded into new residential and commercial projects. Got a lighting idea in mind? Contact us here.
