Together with architect Juan Berrío, we designed a one-of-a-kind piece for Ana Caribe, a restaurant located in Cartagena’s historic center: a suspended light sculpture handwoven in natural fique from Curití, placed above the most iconic table in the space and visible from the street. The idea emerged by merging several shapes from Seese’s first collection into a single structure, creating a warm, visually rich composition aligned with the restaurant’s concept.
Since then, our relationship with the architect has led to new residential and commercial collaborations, alternating between collection pieces and fully custom designs. For these types of projects, we offer a dedicated service that supports studios in developing unique handcrafted lighting from scratch. Learn more in our Let’s Design section.
